The UX Group (pronounced The-you-ex-Group) is an IT Services Company offering IT Infrastructure Services, EAS Services, Web Presence Services and Technical Training on Unix, Linux platforms, using Open Source Software (OSS). We have our headquarters in Vijayawada in India. We started our operations since Oct 13, 2006 and our company is proprietory in nature as of now.

We provide reliable and cost-effective IT services. As a services company, our emphasis has always been on Quality. We strongly believe that enterprises of any size can readily benefit from using open source products and solutions. Solutions based on open source software are not only less expensive but are also of equal or better quality compared to their commercial counterparts. We encourage the use of open source technologies and solutions by enterprises, by deploying the available OSS products or customizing them as per our clients' requirements.

Management

Our company is owned and operated by Sisir. Graduating with a Bachelors degree (B.Tech.) in Electronics & Instrumentation from KITS, Warangal in 1993, he started his career in Bombay (now Mumbai) and worked there for 4 years. He later worked as a technical consultant for Bell Atlantic (now Verizon) and Lucent Technologies in usa and for Agilent Technologies in New Delhi through consulting companies. He then relocated to Bangalore and worked as an independent systems consultant for a good three years before starting The UX Group. He has 8 years of industry experience in Unix/Linux SysAdmin. He has Sun SCNA 8 and Red Hat RHCT (RHEL 4) certifications in system administration. He was a charter member of LOPSA and a sustaining member of ISOC.
