  • BSD Unix System Administration Track (Code: BSDSA): Consists of TUXG-391 course. BSD Unix is known for its security and stability since years. FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, Dragon Fly BSD and Mac OS X belong to this Unix flavor and are quite similar. BSD Unix is quite commonly being used by ISPs or web hosting companies.
  • LAMP Web Developer Track (Code: LWD): Consists of TUXG-611 and TUXG-891 courses. Linux and Apache basics are also covered in this track. These courses help the participant become a good LAMP web developer. LAMP stands for Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP (or Perl or Python). Unlike a normal web developer, a LAMP web developer uses Linux as the operating system, and uses its various open source web development tools to design professional web sites. We teach how one can deliver more as a LAMP Web Developer without spending much on commercial web authoring tools.
If you are interested in learning the basics of Linux, then we suggest that you take Linux Basics course.
For learning Solaris basics, we suggest that you do TUXG-411 (Solaris Basics).

If you dream of becoming a competent Linux Admin, Linux Admin track is what you need to pursue.

If you are an experienced Linux/Unix System Administrator, you can improve your skills by joining TUXG-581 (Bash Shell Scripting) and/or TUXG-612 (Perl Programming).

If you are already Linux-certified and working as a Linux Admin, you can opt for SCSA Track or SCNA Track to become a Solaris Admin also.

If you are a System Administrator, that need to do some web development too, then you can opt for LWD track and/or TUXG-981 (Joomla CMS).
